Matches Dreams

School is back in session and the lazy days of summer are almost over! As fall approaches, think of this season as a new beginning. It’s an opportunity to reflect on what you’ve accomplished so far and what you still want to cross off your 2013 list. By this time you may have forgotten what goals you set for yourself at the start of the year or maybe you’ve resorted to making excuses as to why you haven’t successfully completed them.

Do any of these resonate with you? I’m even guilty of a few of these…

  • Not enough time (too busy)
  • Not enough money (can’t afford it)
  • Fear of failure
  • Resistant to change
  • Feeling discouraged
  • Etc, etc. etc.
  • Or just pure procrastination

The good news is there’s plenty of time left to achieve the tasks that are most important to you…126 days (to be exact) before ringing in another New Year! What task is still on your 2013 to-do list that holds significant meaning?

  • a weight loss goal
  • spending more time with family & friends
  • going back to school
  • kicking a bad habit
  • relocating to a new city
  • finishing a special project
  • revamping your business
  • volunteering
  • mending a relationship
  • pursuing your talents
  • getting organized

Determine which (ONE) goal is the most important to you right now. It should be something you are truly passionate about that will positively impact your life. This is the goal you should focus on first and foremost over the next few months. The only obstacle in your way is you so commit to making it a daily priority. Remember, change brings forth growth when you rise above your doubts and take the first step.

Don't waste another minute because it’s never too late to bring your dreams back to life!

So Start Shining!!
